Short version: we collect little and sell nothing.

On this website, the personal information we hold is what you type into the early-access form. In a bar running LLUMIVIA, it's the team name you choose. No ad trackers, no accounts, and we never sell your data. Effective July 9, 2026.

What we collect

If you submit the early-access form, we receive what you entered: your name, venue name, email address, city/state, and any message you include. We may also use standard website analytics to understand how the site is used — things like pages visited, referral source, and general device info.

How we use it

We use your form submission to respond about early access and to contact you about LLUMIVIA's launch and founding-venue pricing. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to any list beyond that.

Who processes it

The site is hosted on Netlify, which handles form submissions and, like any host, keeps standard server access logs (such as IP addresses) for a limited time to operate the service. Form submissions are delivered to us by email and stored in our Netlify dashboard. If we adopt an analytics service, it will process usage data on our behalf and we'll name it here.

If you play trivia at a venue

You don't make an account and we don't ask for your name, email, or phone number. What the game stores is the team name you type in, your score for that show, and — so the venue can run a season leaderboard — a running tally of points against that team name. Your team name is shown on the venue's TV during play.

This data lives on the LLUMIVIA box in the venue, not in a central profile, and it isn't linked to you as a person. We don't collect device identifiers, location, or contacts. Your phone's network address is used only to keep one person from flooding the game with joins, and is never stored with your answers.

Because a team name is whatever you type, please pick a nickname rather than your full name if you'd prefer not to be identified. The join screen says the same thing.

How long we keep it

We keep early-access submissions for as long as they're useful for evaluating and onboarding venues. You can ask us to remove yours at any time — see below.

In-venue play data is short-lived: the record of past show nights is capped and automatically deleted after six months, and a venue's season standings are cleared whenever staff start a new season. Answers themselves are not kept — the box holds only the question currently being played, so it can recover the show if it loses power, and that is overwritten with each new question and disregarded entirely after 30 minutes.

Your choices

Want your submission corrected or deleted? Email hello@llumivia.com and we'll take care of it promptly.

Want a team name removed from a venue's leaderboard? Ask the venue's staff — they can clear standings from their console — or email us and we'll help arrange it with them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. Questions? hello@llumivia.com.
